Slanzer Technology and Micromax on Make in India

As the policy of Make in India came in inception, the manufacturing units and assembly lines of Indian mobile handset industry started shifting from China to India because of the policy’s significant role in Nation’s growth. This shifting is not limited to Handset industry only, automobiles, engineering and other companies are also taking part in Make in India initiative.
The trend of manufacturing in India will not only boost the employment rate in The Nation but also reduce the import bill on mobile handsets, automobile and others.
To actively take part in Make in India, Micromax is all set to invest Rs 300 crore in times to come for setting 2-3 manufacturiang units in India, which will encourage the domestic production. As a result of this, 3,000 to 3,500 people will be employed in those three states where these units will be developed, i.e. Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana.
The Co-founder of Micromax, Rajesh Agarwal said, "This is more than 'Make in India', it's about making India a hub for electronic manufacturing as our electronics (import) bills will overshoot our crude bills in the next few years given the heavy demand."
Other Smartphones, whose manufacturing units will be established in India, include Sony India and Lava. Even Chinese Smartphone manufacturing organisations are ready to establish a base in India with Gionee, Xiomi, OnePlus etc. Taiwan-based Foxconn, Meizu backed by Alibaba and Swipe are those non-Chinese organisations who will join the race of Make in India.
Following the path of mobile handsets’ manufacturing in India, the mobile accessory experts like Slanzer Technology also came forward to appreciate Indian companies’ move to come back to home turf and foreign organisations’ initiative to explore India.
An official spokesperson from Slanzer Technology said, “Make in India itself is a praiseworthy policy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced. It is a well-thought plan on the part of Mr. Modi to avail the opportunities of employment in India and encourage everyone to contribute their bit in Nation’s development. The way these mobile handset experts are coming to India, it’s a huge responsibility on our shoulders to provide them with a suitable environment, where they can operate smoothly and Slanzer is all set for that.
With opportunities and power to make the India a developed Nation, comes a huge responsibility to keep things on track; follow the implemented norms without causing any damage to the biological environment.
