Insight of Digital India and Budget 2016 with Slanzer Technology

When the Union Budget 2016 was presented in the parliament, numerous industry experts appreciated the same for being ‘beneficial for all’. The nine pillars’ concept is being praised for infusing every possible aspect contributing in Nation’s development.
Slanzer Technology is glad that its aim to digitize India, which is already aligned with Make in India initiative of the GOI, has been highlighted in the Union Budget this year. The gadget accessory expert talks about digital literacy, which is a wide term that covers all the aspects related to the knowledge of handling digital devices like smartphones, computers, tablet PCs and Internet usage.
Slanzer Technology Pvt Ltd appreciates the way Union Government has proposed to take certain steps to cover about 60 million houses in rural areas in approaching 3 years and provide digital devices, including computers, tablet PCs and smartphones, and Internet usage facility across the Nation, to work on the digital divide across the Nation.
The company experts also analysed that no hike in indirect tax rates, till GST’s implementation, is an advantage for the investors in the industry. And the proposed 25% decrease in the corporate tax for new manufacturing units may help in generating more job opportunities and promote the industrial activities, another observation by Slanzer Technologies.
Even the way Kerala has been declared first Indian state with 100% mobile density and 75% e-literacy rate, it raises the bar of expectations among numerous industrialists. Slanzer is optimistic that other states will also follow the footsteps of Kerala and contribute in making the whole India, a digitized Nation.
The commendable step taken by the Union Government to cater the dire need of electricity and ensuring digital literacy in these areas comes under the National Digital Literacy Mission for Rural Households, which will provide a majority of people an easy access to information.
Slanzer Technology’s experts are hopeful that more initiatives would be introduced by the government of India to make the digitization a common phenomenon across the Nation.

Slanzer Technology and Micromax on Make in India

As the policy of Make in India came in inception, the manufacturing units and assembly lines of Indian mobile handset industry started shifting from China to India because of the policy’s significant role in Nation’s growth. This shifting is not limited to Handset industry only, automobiles, engineering and other companies are also taking part in Make in India initiative.
The trend of manufacturing in India will not only boost the employment rate in The Nation but also reduce the import bill on mobile handsets, automobile and others.
To actively take part in Make in India, Micromax is all set to invest Rs 300 crore in times to come for setting 2-3 manufacturiang units in India, which will encourage the domestic production. As a result of this, 3,000 to 3,500 people will be employed in those three states where these units will be developed, i.e. Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana.
The Co-founder of Micromax, Rajesh Agarwal said, "This is more than 'Make in India', it's about making India a hub for electronic manufacturing as our electronics (import) bills will overshoot our crude bills in the next few years given the heavy demand."
Other Smartphones, whose manufacturing units will be established in India, include Sony India and Lava. Even Chinese Smartphone manufacturing organisations are ready to establish a base in India with Gionee, Xiomi, OnePlus etc. Taiwan-based Foxconn, Meizu backed by Alibaba and Swipe are those non-Chinese organisations who will join the race of Make in India.
Following the path of mobile handsets’ manufacturing in India, the mobile accessory experts like Slanzer Technology also came forward to appreciate Indian companies’ move to come back to home turf and foreign organisations’ initiative to explore India.
An official spokesperson from Slanzer Technology said, “Make in India itself is a praiseworthy policy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced. It is a well-thought plan on the part of Mr. Modi to avail the opportunities of employment in India and encourage everyone to contribute their bit in Nation’s development. The way these mobile handset experts are coming to India, it’s a huge responsibility on our shoulders to provide them with a suitable environment, where they can operate smoothly and Slanzer is all set for that.”
With opportunities and power to make the India a developed Nation, comes a huge responsibility to keep things on track; follow the implemented norms without causing any damage to the biological environment.
